To make the frosting: In an electric mixing bowl place the soft butter and beat it on a low speed while adding powdered sugar. When all the sugar is mixed in, turn off the mixer and scrape down the sides of the bowl.

Ganache frosting. 6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream 2 Tbsp. corn syrup. Place the chocolate and corn syrup in a medium sized bowl. In a small saucepan, add cream. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Pour cream over chocolate mixture, let stand 2 minutes.
